The DayCor® UV-Eyelite HD is an advanced, compact bi-spectral camera developed by Ofil for OEM integration to detect corona and arcing events during high-speed, daylight mobile inspections across various platforms such as vehicles, trains, robots, and ATVs. By combining a UVc optical channel that isolates invisible corona radiation with a visible channel, the unit merges both feeds to provide inspectors with a clear, pinpointed view of defects and their exact emission sources. This technology effectively expands the human eye's visual spectrum to reveal hidden grid issues like faulty designs, broken conductors, and insulation problems, while transmitting high-definition video on-the-fly without smearing. Featuring exclusive proprietary DayCor® technology, high UVc sensitivity, Ethernet communication, and an IP65 weather-protected enclosure, the 2.1 kg camera facilitates easy remote control and precise data recording stamped with date, time, and corona strength.
